Create a Happy Healthy Home the Maximum Living Way

Creating a green and healthy environment for you and your family starts in your home. From healthy drinking water to non toxic cleaners, just a few simple steps and easy education can get you on the road to a healthy and happy home in no time.

Did you know you can actually buy plants at your local nursery that will clean the air in your home? That's right, and these plants live in both high and low light conditions. Here is a list:

Aloe Vera, Aglaonema Aglaonema species, Arrowhead Vine Syngonium species,
Bamboo Palm Chamaedorea erumpens, Chrysanthemum, Dracaena, English Ivy,
Peace Lily Schefflera or Umbrella Tree, Snake Plant Sansevieria, Spider Plant Chlorophytum comosum.

Also, many people don't realize that many of the cleaners we use in our homes carry a warning from the EPA. They can cause everything from skin irritation to asthma, besides the fact that they are toxic to our environment. So what should you look for when buying a product? My suggestion is to find a product that is organic, biodegradable, and all natural. Yes it may be hard to find, but the products I have found and use in my everyday work comes from Shakle* and you can find more information about them on www.shaklee.net

Another way to help our environment is to buy products that are concentrated. This helps us to buy less and get more while at the same time keeping less manufactured plastics and bottles out of our landfills.

Most people think that just by themselves they really can't make a difference in this world, but you actually can. Buy just starting with yourself and what you use to keep your home clean will actually start a movement and awareness among your circle of influence that actually can grow and change the world.

Keep healthy and start on your path to a happy healthy home today!
Remember...YOU CAN DO IT!

The Fluoride Deception- You need to be aware of

I just had my annual check up at the dentist. I'm one of those lucky people who has never had any cavities and have very healthy teeth. Personally I've avoided fluoride for years. I just have this thing about putting chemicals of any kind in my body. At our house we purify the water so there is no fluoride in it for drinking. I use an orgainc dentrifice toothpaste.

Award-winning journalist Christopher Bryson, a former producer at the BBC, discusses the findings of his book The Fluoride Deception in the incredibly important video below.

If you still think fluoride is good for you, or if you want to know more about the dangerous deception surrounding the widespread use of this toxic chemical in the United States, this video is a must-see.

You may also want to check out the exclusive interview that was conducted with Christopher Bryson. “The Fluoride Deception” is much more than a book about the dangers of fluoride -- it reveals a multi-tiered effort, or as Bryson says an abuse of power, by military and industry scientists and public health officials to shamelessly promote fluoride to the dentistry field and the American public with little regard to the implications it would have on human health.

We are so lucky to have the technology of the internet to help educate us. Now the choice is ours we can make our owh informed decisions about what we want to put in our bodies.
