Dr. Bruce Daggy's Shaklee 180 Smoothee Generator

Helpful Hints...

The  Generator is not displaying recipes on each line; it’s meant to get you thinking about different types of ingredients to consider.

  •  A good green smoothee will be smooth & cold.  You need a powerful blender that blends ice.
  • We tend to use water & ice, no dairy or other milk.  We replace dairy protein with nuts, and dairy sugar with fruit.  The healthy fat in the nuts is good for gallbladder contraction. Use little juice if any.  Online calculators can help you determine the nutritional values for your recipes.
  •  We add lots of water/ice – we each end up with about 2 pints of liquid.  We take Vitalizer with the second glass.  Start the day well hydrated and well nourished!
  •  Blanched broccoli – cook & refrigerate night before or even freeze -- works amazingly well, and raw zucchini imparts a creaminess like ice cream.  If you don’t like the bitter note of spinach or kale, try adding lettuce, grapes, apple.
  •  A little citrus juice – we generally add the juice of ½ or one lemon – and fresh root ginger (peeled) really bring up the flavor.  A little hot pepper can add some excitement  to your morning!
  • Cholesterol Reduction Complex disappears completely in the green smoothee, and if anything it is probably more effective when incorporated  into food this way.
  •  If morning time is an issue, the fruit can be chopped/peeled on a weekend and frozen in baggies.  Lemon juice can be frozen in an ice tray and then added to the baggies.  Or have your green smoothee for dinner.
  •  Start the day this way, and it’s easy to achieve 5-a-day fruits and vegetables.
  • It takes a little experimentation to find the recipes you like – go for it, and please share/ REPIN

11 yr old kid's view of what's wrong with our Food System

I could not imagine getting up in front a crowd at TED and talking much less delivering such a powerful message. Grass Roots change will happen thanks to Birke Baehr, TED and Social Media!

Really it's time to make this change globally, especially with the rise of people who are truly trying to get back in shape and eat clean again. What we put into our bodies every day matters, and changing how we look at such things is an important part of a future society where health and sanity are as important as dollar bills.

Is your Home really Healthy after Spring Cleaning?

Could you be causing your family's health issues from the products you use to clean?  When it comes to being healthy, what you put around your body is just as important as what you put in your body. That's why home should be the safest place on earth.

A true story shared on Oprah by Sloan Barnett
My son Spencer had just turned three when, one day, I noticed he was coughing a lot. At first, I didn't think anything of it. Kids get sick. I told him to lie down, thinking he'd be fine -- it was just a cough. A short time later, I realized that his heart was pounding, as if it were trying to beat right out of his chest.

Terrified, my husband, Roger, and I rushed him to the hospital. We spent the next two nights in the ICU. The doctors told us he had something called reactive airways dysfunction syndrome -- a form of asthma. Neither my husband nor I had any family history of asthma, going back four generations. So we concluded that the cause was environmental.

It didn't take long to discover that the U.S. is in the midst of an asthma epidemic. The number of people diagnosed with asthma grew by 4.3 million in the last decade. About one in 10 American children currently suffer from asthma -- a nearly threefold increase from 3.6 percent in 1980. A suspected cause of these stunning changes?

At least six well-designed epidemiological studies have pointed to one answer: A strong link between the use of certain cleaning products and asthma. That stopped me cold. The cause of my son's asthma may have been me. I may have been poisoning my own son.

The good news is that this is one area where easy, affordable solutions are available. First and foremost, you should avoid what can be the strongest asthma triggering chemicals present in conventional cleaners such as bleach, hydrochloric acid and ammonia. These chemicals are often mixed together to create an even more dangerous combination. Next go out and buy yourself non-toxic, biodegradable, green cleaning products.
1. Gather all your cleaning products and read the labels.
2. Notice how dangerous and toxic they are. Then, take a deep breath (but not near the cleaning products).
3. Take all the ones that say "danger," "poison" or contain chlorine bleach and ammonia and put them in a garbage bag.
4. Call your local sanitation department and ask them how to dispose of them safely.
5. Buy green cleaning products, and breathe deeply and safely.
By the way, my son is 11 and hasn't been to the emergency room in 1,825 days. But who's counting?
~ Sloan Barnett

Best Natural Mouse Control

Kittens Free to Good Homes where they can thrive!

It's springtime on the farm and with that comes some of the cutest babies. Our Momma kitty is the best mother to her little fur balls, she feeds them, cleans them and hops out of the basket and watches them play. This morning however the little orange kitten (Tanger) crawled up and flipped out behind her. That was a HUGE reality check for me!

The day has come to start looking for new homes for the babies. I posted an ad in our local Craigslist with a link to this video of our little fur balls in hopes someone will give them a good home to do what they do best... Play, Entertain, and eventually catch mice like their mother.

There will be no more kitten's for Miss Bri (Momma kitty) we will be getting her fixed! Miss Bri is very smart cat, she let's us know when she needs outside (just like a dog) so no need for a litter box. She was raised outside on our farm and is a smart, savvy farm kitty doing what farm cats do hunt mice and on lap up the extra goat milk.

Simple but Powerful Nutritional Insurance

In 1915 Dr. Shaklee invented vitalized minerals known today as vitamins. Over the years many others have tried to copy his original formula taken from nature and he said they copied and copied but they couldn't copy my mind.  Unfortunately in the '70's the US government came out and said their is no difference between synthetic and natural substances. So in all reality when you purchase "vitamins" they can say all natural but who knows if it really is! Over the years many have tried putting synthetic substances together and call it "natural vitamins" but your body knows.

When I was first introduced to Shaklee I took it because of the 100% unconditional money back guarantee. I knew if I didn't feel better in 30 day's I would get my money back. This was over 15 years ago and I'm still taking it. Did I feel better? YES!!! Did I want my money back? NO, because I felt better and for the first time in 2 years I wasn't getting the sinus attack and big headaches. You really can't put a price on your health.

I encourage you to do your own research and give Shaklee Vitalizer a try. You don't have anything to loose and better health to gain. Learn more about Shaklee Vitalizer
